Ghassoul clay or sometimes Rhassoul clay is a natural volcanic clay used as a skin and hair treatment for cleansing, exfoliating, and rejuvenating properties, very gentle and soothing. It is used mainly to prepare mild paste shampoos due to its exceptional ability to absorb impurities without irritating the scalp.
It is gentle to the skin and scalp, a good choice especially for combination or oily, blemished skin, acne-prone skin, oily scalp and hair & thinning hair.

Always do a patch test first.
In a small dish add a small amount of clay, slowly add little bit of water or water hydrolat (Lavender or Rose water) until a paste is formed. Apply to your face & neck with brush and leave for 10 minutes. Remove using a warm face cloth. Use once or twice a week.
Clay should never be stored in a metal container or stirred with metal spoon. Metal spoons & bowls will react with the clay-reducing most of its healing properties.
Always remove your mask before it fully dries. When you leave a clay mask on too long by letting it dry & harden -the clay ends up absorbing essential water from your skin barrier ,which effects hydration levels.
